Project Management

What does WBS stand for?

RE: Project Management

Hi Cosmin

thank you for your question - WBS stands for Work Breakdown Structure. A Hierarchical method for organising all the activities within your plan. Starting from the top, working down the page, breaking the main and intermediate deliverables into smaller work packages. General advice would suggest that you stop breaking items down when they may result in activities of less than one day's duration.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Management Training tip:

Setting To Do Lists

Improve your time management techniques by writing down your daily to do list for that day on the previous evening. You then don't have to get up and wonder "what do I need to do today" - you just hit the ground running.
