Macros

How do you create a macro button to appear on the worksheets?

RE: Macros

Hello Lisa
Thank you for your question

In excel go to View, Toolbars and select the Forms toolbar. Click the 'button' on the toolbar and draw a button on the worksheet. Once drawn a box will automatically appear which allows you to select the macro that you want to assign to the button. You will need to either write or record the macro you want to use first or you can click the new or record button in this window to do one at the time which then gets assigned to the button. Once created you can resize and format the button as you wish by right clicking and formatting.

If this resolves your question, please mark it as resolved. If not, please reply with more information.

Kind regards
Cress

Excel tip:

Trace Dependents / Precedents without the blue arrows

Rather than using the toolbar you can press CTRL+] which is the equivelent of trace dependants and CTRL+[ for precendants. Both of these ways though will not show the blue arrows but jump to the cell containing the formula.
