Shared calendar in outlook

Our office is looking at setting up a calendar which shows availability of the meeting room. The requirement is that everyone is able to view the availability of the meeting room but only two people will have the admin rights to actually add or delete meetings.

Is this something that can be set up ourselves or this is something that our IT department will need to set up?

Thank you for attending Upgrade to Office 2007 course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

You can set the calendar sharing without your IT dept getting involved with it. But it is important that you have MS exchange server to share the calendar. Normally personal computer users don't use MS Exchange server but I would assume your company uses one. Please confirm it with your IT Dept. In short you have to give access rights to users.
