Pre set date and time

how do you fix the date and time that it doesn't automatically update

RE: pre set date and time

Hi Rollin

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

You can do this by:
1. Entering the =now() function into a cell to give you current date and time.
2. Copy the =now() formula result, and select a different cell.
3. Go to Edit - Paste Special, and choose Values and Number formats, click OK. This will paste the date and time in, but it won't update. You can then delete the =now() function if you wish.

I hope this helps.
Amanda
