how can i import live data from the web?

RE: web queries

Hi Anna,

Thank you for your question.

If you need to import live data from the web, then you need to go to Data, Import External Data and type the web address into the address line.

Once the page is found look for the data you want to import and select the little box that has an arrow with a yellow background which appears at the top left of the data. Then click Import.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Display Functions on Worksheets

Functions in Excel can be difficult to recall their format/syntax

For example, you want to use the =PMT function.

Enter =PMT, then select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+A.

This usful memory jog, will display the arguments of a function on a worksheet, allowing the user to proceed with the generation of the function
