Entering a cubed figure

can you tell me how to enter a figure on an exel sheet with a tiny 3 to the top right of the main number to look like the figure is cubed?

I've looked in symbols/wingdings but can't find anything to resemble this.

Many thanks
Pat

RE: entering a cubed figure

Hi Pat

I recreated your problem and was able to get round it as follows.

Step 1:
You first need to change the cells to text format. You can do this by selecting cell range and Format/Cells/choose number tag and then select text from the options.

Step 2:
You can now edit the 3 by highlighting just the 3 in the cell and clicking on Format/Cells then check superscript under effects.

That worked for me.

Many thanks, I'll give it a try
