Referencing between worksheets

How do you cross reference a cell from one sheet on a spreadsheet to another sheet on a spreadsheet.

RE: Referencing between worksheets

Hi Alasdair,

Thank you for your post, in order to do this I would probably use the Watch Window;

1. Go to the Ribbon and select the Formulas tab.

2. In the Formula Auditing section, select Watch Window.

3. The Watch Window will appear.

4. Click the Add Watch button to specify the cell you wish to monitor.

You can now monitor the value of the selected cell while continuing to work on any area of the workbook. You can also double-click on the cell in the Watch Window to quickly go to that cell.
I Hope that helps, regards Pete

Excel tip:

Highlighting a data range

Attempting to use a mouse to highlight a large range of cells with data in Excel can make the mouse to have a life of it's own!

Use keyboard strokes instead.

Step 1. Place the cusor in the cell where the highlighting should begin.

Step 2. Select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+END

This will take the cursor to the furthermost bottom corner of the data range found in that worksheet. And highlight that range of cells at the same time
