Notes within an individual cell

How do I insert a comment or notation within an individual cell so that it is flagged for someone else to see - this might be an instruction?

RE: Notes within an individual cell

Good morning Neil,

There are a number of ways but this is how I would do it !!

Click on the cell you want to make comments on to make it the active cell, then go up to the menu bar and click Insert, and go down to "Comment". This should create a speech bubble for you to type in a note relevant to that specific cell.

You can if needs be, drag the speech bubble to make it larger or smaller depending on the amount of text you wish to insert.

Hope this helps, any other points please feel free to get back to me

Tracy

Excel tip:

Jumping Across the Excel Screen

PgDn and PgUp keys scrolls up and down a screen page in most applications.

Alt+PgDn and Alt+PgUp is the equivalent across the spreadsheet.
