Linking cells

I am trying to link cells(with formula) in the opposite direction. for eg. If I have a range of formula which are horizontal across a row how do I link to those forumla horizontally down a column without referring to each cell manually? Thanks

RE: Linking cells

Hi Nasif

Thank you for your question; and welcome to the forum.

Can you please explain what the formula you are creating is doing, e.g. is the formula adding the cell range which is in the row?

Thank you in advance
Amanda

RE: Linking cells

Hi Amanda

Its simply linking cells in a spreadsheet.(trying to link cells which are displaynig horizontal data to display it vertically down a column)

For eg. if you have the months of the year across a row and data underneath each month, is there a way of linking the data down a column, so I could drag the column down and it would pick up the data across the row?

I have used the transpose function in the paste tools but am unable to link the actual cells. What I then have to do is reference each cell which can take alot of time.

Hope this makes sense.

RE: Linking cells

Hi Nasif

Thank you for clarifying this for me.

This is a tricky one - I will need to do some further research to find out if this is possible. I'll look into and let you know if I find anything that will help.

Amanda
