Thanks for your question.

You can customise a toolbar by going to Tools - Customise - Commands.

Select the menu item that has the feature you want to add to the toolbar from the Categories list, then you can select the feature from the Commands list on the right and then drag and drop it onto a toolbar.

When you are in Tools - Customise, you are also able to drag buttons off a toolbar as well.
