Non printing pictures

How can I format a picture in order to view it on screen (in my header) but exclude it when printing? It used to be really easy in older versions of word but I can't seem to find the box to tick or untick any more.

Thanks

RE: non printing pictures

Hi Barbel,

Thank you for your question.

In MS Office 2007, all the options are now located under Office Button (Top left Microsoft Office logo).

1. Click on Office Button > select WORD OPTIONS
2. Click 2nd item "Display"
3. You will find printing options in the 3rd section, untick the items you wish to exclude.

See if this helps.

Kinds regards,

Word tip:

Change text immediately from upper case to lower case or vice versa in Word 2010

You don't ave to re-type all the text out again in Word 2010 if you decide you want to change the case of the text. Here's a really quick way of doing it without typing it all out again.

First, select the selection of text you want to change. Then, just press the Shift + F3 keys and keep pressing until the text looks the way you want.
