Track Changes! HELP!!

Hi!
I am just about to send an important document composed in Word 2004 (II.3.5.).
I need to make sure no one can see my tracked changes when they receive my document, how do ensure this?
Thank you so much for a quick response,
Aisling.

RE: Track Changes! HELP!!

Hi Aisling, Thanks for the post, in answer;

In Word 2002 and 2003, on the Reviewing toolbar, choose Final. This displays your document as if you had accepted all the tracked changes in the document. It hides (but does not remove) the tracked changes.
In Word 2002 and 2003, on the Reviewing toolbar, choose Original. This displays your document as if you had rejected all the tracked changes in the document. It hides (but does not remove) the tracked changes.

In earlier versions of Word, Tools > Track Changes > Highlight Changes. Un-tick Highlight Changes on Screen. This displays your document as if you had accepted all the tracked changes. It hides (but does not remove) the tracked changes.
But... if you turn off the display of tracked changes, it doesn't mean they're not there. The tracked changes are just hidden. Anyone could open your document and choose to view your tracked changes.

To remove the tracked changes from your document; either accept them or reject them.

I hope that has helped, regards Pete.

Word tip:

Move your cursor quickly to its previous position

Use these shortcut keys to quickly move your cursor back to its previous position in a Word document (particularly handy if you are working in a long document).

Hold down Ctrl + Alt + Z (or Command Option + Z on the Apple) to automatically move your cursor back to its previous position. You can use these keys more than once and Word will keep moving your cursor back to where it has been previously.
