What are the operators used in excel formulas?

RE: Excel and formulas

Hi Linda, welcome to the forum, thank you for your post, in answer to your question, the arithmetical operators used in Excel are; +, -, *, / these being plus, minus, multiply, and divide, in addition you have > greater than, < less than, = equal to, <> not equal to. You can also use the , comma, to signify AND ie A1,A2 (contents of A1 and the contents of A2), I hope that has helped, if so please click the Resolved link, best regards Pete

Excel tip:

No Zeros

Want all the zeros in your worksheet to appear blank? Choose Tools/Options, Click on the View Tab, Deselect the Zero Values Option, Click OK.
Easy wasn't it? But be aware that these cells are not actually blank, they still contain the value zero. This is important because certain functions (ie AVERAGE) make a distinction between blank cells and those with a zero value.
