Excel concatenation?? if??

hi,

So I have a list of properties 1-96.
I have a separate workbook list of indexes 1-12.

Each property has been assigned an index, eg: prop 34=index no 7; prop 35=index 2 and so on.

how could I assign these indexes to there relevant numbers against the properties? Do I need to concatenate or something a little more involved?

Thanks for your help.

Adam

RE: excel concatenation?? if??

Hello Adam,
I hope you enjoyed your Excel training session with us.

I am trying to understand more clearly what you are looking to do. If you want to create a unique property-to-index identifier, then I would do a concatenation. Is this what you would like to do? If not, could you give a bit more detail? I will try to help further.

Have a great day.
