PDF DOCUMENTS

How do you fill in a PDF application form as they do not allow you to put text in and if you save them to a word document you still cannot enter text onto them.

RE: PDF DOCUMENTS

Hi Sarah, Thank you for your post, I hope you have enjoyed the course and welcome to the forum.
In answer to your question, a PDF document would not normally be used as an input form, this is because a PDF is a graphical representation of the original document. as you have discovered, if you save the PDF into word it appears as a graphic (like a photograph), and again is not editable. I would think that the form you are refering to is probably for print out and then completion by hand.
The only way that a PDF can usually be edited is by using an creator/editor such as Adobe Acrobat, and even then this would not be online.
Creating a PDF is much easier these days as there are now quite a few online PDF creators which are available to download, a few do allow for editing. I hope that has answered your question, if it has please click the Resolved link, with best regards Pete.
