Docx default file format

Hi Simon, Thanks for the post, in answer to your question, Word 2007 will save by default to the .docx extension, if you want to change this follow these steps; Click the Office button and click the button Word Options at the bottom of the dialog box, in the dialog box that opens click the Save option, in the dialog box that then opens click the drop down Save Files in this format: and from the drop down choose the file type you wish to have as your default extension.
