How do I insert new sheets and how many sheets am I allowed to insert?

Hi Viktoria,

I hope you enjoyed your Excel training. Thank you for your question.

Excel initially starts with 3 worksheets when a new file is created, as the default number. This can be added to easily. To insert a new worksheet within an Excel file you need to go to Insert>>Worksheet.

The number of worksheets that can be added to a file is limited only by available memory on your computer.

Hide separate columns in Excel 2010

If you want to hide columns not adjacent to each other for example, Columns A, C and E then:-

1) Click on the fist column to be hidden i.e. A

2) Press and hold down the CTRL key

3) While holding the CTRL key, left click on the rest of the columns you want to hide i.e. C and E

4) Right click and choose Hide
