Excel 2003

Does Ecel 03 differ dramatically from 07?

RE: Excel 2003

Hello Guatam,
I hope you enjoyed your Excel training session with us.

To answer your question, you will notice an immediate difference in the look of Excel 2007 versus 2003. However, in terms of core functionality, the two are still very similar. You will still be able to perform the same calculations in 2007 that you could do in 2003, and there are some added capabilities in 2007 as well. I have found a helpful site that lays out some of the key differences between the two:
http://www.add-ins.com/Excel %202003%20versus%202007.htm

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved. If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. And please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Have a great day.

Regards,

Excel tip:

Generate randon numbers

Some types of analysis require you to use randomly generated numbers. You can also use randomly generated numbers to quickly populate an Excel spreadsheet. There's an easy function you can use to do this automatically. Here are a few of the ways you can use it:

Type =RAND() in a cell to generate a number between 0 and 1.
Type =RAND()*100 to generate a number between 1 and 100.
