Hi Claudia, Thank you for the post, first off I need to assume a little here, do you wish to format a cell in Excel after importing/embedding it into a PowerPoint slide, or do you wish to format an individual cell in a table in PowerPoint? I will go for the former in my answer; if you have embedded an Excel worksheet by copy n pasting your Excel Worksheet (or part thereof) will act like a table, and can be formatted cell by cell as you would normally do in a table. If however you have imported the worksheet using Insert>Object, browsed for the worksheet location and linked to it you can undertake all formatting by double-clicking on the imported worksheet and using the Excel toolbars which will appear.
