Hi Laura,
Hope you are coping with PowerPoint & Excel.
Just want to let you know the answer to your centre align object question is on Drawing Toolbar.
- 1. First select the shape / object
2. Click on "Drawing" toolbar
3. Select "Align or Distribute" > switch on "Relative to Slide"
4. Return to "Drawing" > "Align or Distribute" again
5. Select "Align Centre"
6. Click on "Drawing" > "Align or Distribute" again > select "Align Middle"
