How do I find the Excel shortcuts cheat sheet?
There are an amazing number of shortcuts available for use when working in Excel. To find a list of these you will need to get assistance from Help.
In 2007 and 2010 versions press F1 or click the help button in the top right hand corner. Type 'Key Tips' (without apostrophes) into the Search box and press enter. You will be presented with a list of useful topics including one on Keyboard Shortcuts. Click the relevant link, expand the list and print it out if necessary.
In 2003 and earlier versions press F1 or click the help button found on the Standard toolbar. This opens the Task Pane where you can type 'Keyboard Shortcuts' (without apostrophes) into the search box and press enter. Follow the same instructions mentioned above.
One of the main benefits of using shortcuts is to speed up your inputting skills. Using a mouse can often slow down a procedure.
