How can I hyperlink an object to a QuickTime video file?

RE: video files

Hi Kristina

Thank you for your question.

You should be able to have text or a picture hyperlink to a QuickTime video file.

Once you have entered the text/inserted the picture, select it and right-click - choose the Hyperlink option from the shortcut menu.

Ensure Existing file or web page is selected on the left hand side, then use the Look in area to navigate to and select the QuickTime file. Then click OK.

Test the hyperlink in slide show view to see if it's working.

If you have any problems, the following page may help:

I hope this helps.

PowerPoint tip:

Aligning slide objects using gridlines

The Grids and Guides feature in PowerPoint can serve as a visual guide to assist with aligning and/or resizing shapes.

Go to View > Grid and Guides or on the Drawing toolbar, select Draw > Grid and Guides. You can then choose to display the grid or guides on the screen.
