Macros

What is the benefit of using a Macro?

RE: Macros

Hi Charlotte

Thank you for your question; and apologies for the delay in response.

The point of creating a macro is that it automates a task that you might carry out many times in PowerPoint. A macro can be created by going to Tools - Macro - Record new macro, then carrying out the actions/steps you want the macro to do for you.

Then you can go to Tools - Macro - Macros, select the macro and click Run. Then the macro will perform the same actions/steps for you automatically.

I hope this helps to explain.
Amanda
