Power point, sounds

How do i create sound in my presentation?

RE: Power point, sounds

Hi Jodi,

Thanks for your question.

You need to make sure you have the sound file you want to put into your presentation saved on your computer, or available through ClipArt first.

Then go to Insert - Movies and Sounds. Use the Sound from File option to insert a sound file saved on your computer. Use the Sound from Clip Organizer option if the sound is saved in ClipArt on your computer.

When you insert sound files, you should be given an option as to when you want the sound to play when viewing the presentation in slideshow view (either automatically or when you click on the sound icon that will appear on the slide).

Hope this helps.
Amanda

PowerPoint tip:

Removing unused toolbar buttons in PowerPoint

Are there buttons on your PowerPoint toolbars that you never use? Remove them from the toolbar by doing the following:

1. Go to Tools - Customise - Commands.
2. Select the toolbar button you wish to remove, then use your mouse to drag and drop the button into the PowerPoint window. When you release your finger from the mouse, the button will disappear.
