Powerpoint greeting card.

Greetings New Friends at Powerpoint.
I create greeting cards and have got a problem with positioning text/pics in the print-out. I am very careful when setting up the card info in Powerpoint (v 2007) and use grids etc to ensure that the pics or data should, in theory, be 'dead centre', yet the printout shows the pics/text some way to the right and left of centre. (in double-sided cards.) I feel that the problem is in 'page set-up', but don't know how to correct it.
Regards,
Mike.

RE: Powerpoint greeting card.

Hello Mike, Thanks for the post, I hope you have found the forum interesting and informative, Just a tip in making sure the graphics are where you want them to be... create a frame from the rectangle or any other drawing object found on the Drawing Toolbar in the AutoShapes pop up menu, once you have created your shape, fill the shape: Menu command, Format, AutoShape, From the Fill option, choose Fill Effects, in the dialog box choose Picture, Click on the Select Picture option and navigate to your chosen picture, the picture or graphic will then fill the shape, you can then hide the border using the No Line option from the Line Colour tool on the Drawing Toolbar. The AutoShape should now stay where you have placed it.

PowerPoint tip:

Moving shapes where you want

when you move shapes using your cursor arrows they jump around, so by holding down the CTRL key and using the arrows the shape moves where you want it to.
