Text size

Why does the text sometimes change size and/or font type when I copy and paste it into a new PowerPoint doc?

RE: Text size

Hi Norah,

Thanks for the question,

When you copy and paste text there is a smart tag that appears, that says Keep Source Formatting, Keep Text only. If you want it to be the same as it was make sure the Keep Source Formatting option is clicked.

Good luck

Tracy

PowerPoint tip:

Ways to make exact copies of shapes

There are several ways of making exact copies (duplicates) of shapes you have already drawn in PowerPoint:

1. Use Copy and Paste.

2. Select the shape you wish to duplicate and use Ctrl + D.

3. Select the shape to be duplicated, then hold down the Ctrl key while you drag to the position where you want the duplicate shape to appear.
