How do I create a customer toolbar in PowerPoint?

RE: Toolbars

Hi Caroline

Thank you for your question.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'customer' toolbar - do you mean creating a 'custom' toolbar?

If so, you would do this by:

Going to Tools - Customize - Toolbars

Click New on the right side of the dialogue box, give your toolbar a name.

You will see a very short toolbar appear on your screen.

To add buttons to your toolbar, go to the Commands tab.

Choose the appropriate menu from the Categories box on the left, e.g. if you wanted to add a button to open the master slide view, select View from the Categories box.

Then select the command you wish to add to your toolbar from the Commands box on the right hand side. Use your mouse to drag and drop the command onto your toolbar.
