Importing exel table

How do you amend the content of an exel table on a slide without changing the formating of this table?

RE: Importing exel table

Hi Isabelle

If you import an excel sheet as an embedded object into PowerPoint, you can then edit the spreadsheet in PowerPoint.

It is important to ensure that the sheet you wish to import from Excel is the first/top sheet you see when you open the Excel file, as this is the sheet that will be imported.

In PowerPoint, go to Import - Object, select From File, browse to and select the Excel file you are importing from. Then click OK.

To edit the spreadsheet in PowerPoint double-click on it.

PowerPoint tip:

Moving Tabs where you want

This is a powerpoint only tip.

When you are moving tabs using the ruler the pain is that they jump, but if you use the CTRL key and then click on the tab it will allow you to move it anywhere you want.
