Printing and page numbers

When there is an issue with page numbers, someone has put them in manually, how do you remove these and replace with correct numbers as sometimes the ones we have are out of order.

What is the best way to print presentations on full page slides. Our slides we tend to print to pdf and then print.

RE: Printing and page numbers

Hi Gabby,

Thankyou for your question to the forum.

Printing PowerPoint presentations on full-page slides can be done efficiently by following these steps:

-Go to the "File" tab and select "Print".
-In the "Settings" section, click on the drop-down menu next to "Full Page Slides".
-Choose "Scale to Fit Paper" to ensure the entire slide is printed

You can easily insert automatic page numbers in PowerPoint by following these steps:

-Remove any page numbers previously typed in manually
-Go to the "Insert" tab.
-Click on "Header & Footer".
-In the dialog box, check the "Slide number" box.
-If you don't want the slide number to appear on the title slide, check the "Don't show on title slide" box.
-Click "Apply to All" to add slide numbers to all slides

Hope this helps

Kind regards
Martin

Thank you Martin for this response and the course on Monday and the questions answered in person.

PowerPoint tip:

Make your PowerPoint presentation smaller

Choose "File", "Properties" and turn off "Save preview picture".

This also speeds up saving the file, as Powerpoint does not have to create the little image preview.
