Out of Office

When I leave a message within my organisation & want to leave the same message for outside the organisation I have to type it twice - it doesn't let you cut & paste the message - is there a way to do this?

RE: Out of Office

Hello Annie,

Thank you for your question. What works for me in both Outlook Desktop App and Outlook Online, is to first turn on Out of Office, then to select the message I typed for Inside the Organisation, and then to press Ctrl + C to copy that message. I then go to the box for Outside the Organisation and press Ctrl + V to paste the message into the box.

Please let us know if this doesn't work for you.

Kind regards

Microsoft Office tip:

Using the Quick Access Toolbar in Office 2010

The Quick Access Toolbar is included in virtually every Office product, including Outlook 2010, Word 2010, Excel 2010, and PowerPoint 2010.

You will find the Quick Access Toolbar in the top-left side of the window. To begin, click the Customize button (it's the little black arrow at the end of the toolbar).

Simply click the commands you want to include.

Virtually any command can be added to the Quick Access Toolbar. Click the More Commands option and a new window will open from where you can browse the commands including those not on the ribbon.
