Does tasks in outlook link to Planner tasks

RE: Outlook

Hi Christian,

You can add the tasks to your calendar. So anything with start and end dates can show via Outlook on your calendar view. It looks like this is only for you.

If you go into Planner, then choose My Tasks from the top left panel.
This shows everything assigned to you.
If you click the ... More Options menu next to the My Tasks title at the top left of the page you can see the option Add My Tasks to Outlook Calendar.

If you click the Publish option button then it populates the box with the link you need. Clicking the add to Outlook button adds it to the online version of Outlook.

If you want to share it with anyone else then copy the link.
From the desktop Outlook app, go to the Calendar view and choose the Add Calendar button. Choose from Internet and then paste the link. This will show up as an additional calendar.

Here's the link to MS's instructions:
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/see-your-planner-calendar-in-outlook-5dcccce5-2750-49b5-991b-1837379d96c7

I can only see the link on the My Tasks view.

It looks like planner information is treated like calendar information not like tasks. Hope this helps.
