Macro RAWSqtoCol

Hi!

My name is Diego. At my company we do lots of data collection and we have been working for years with a macro (which we call RAWSqtoCol) that picks up all data points that are on a data square called "Raw Data" and transposes them to another column. Although it has always mostly worked fine, lately we have been having some problems with the macro (in spite of the fact that the code of the macro remains exactly the same). When inserting the data from some (not all) variables, the RAWSqtoCol macro will not pick up two specific cells. Those two cells contain the value 1.0 (but they are not the only ones who contain that value). Nevertheless, if we change the values inside those cells (e.g. from 1.0 to 2.0 or from 1.0 to . - the latter means missing data point for us-), the macro will pick them up again and correctly place them on the transposed column.

I would like to ask whether you have any ideas about why this could be happening. If you provide me with an email, I could send you our Excel data collection template containing the macro as well as the inserted raw data.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Best,
Diego

RE: Macro RAWSqtoCol

Hi Diego,

Thank you for the forum question.

It sounds strange that the code do not pick up cells with the value 1.0 but do it if you change the value.
