I have some code that opens IE 9 and inputs my log in details to our intranet and selects a report i want to run and it works however I would like to amend it. After it has loged in it then opens the report in a second IE window. I like it to stay in the same IE window or open in a new tab., any help would be appreciated, let me know if you need to see what I have so far.

RE: Excel VBA

Hi Adrian

Thanks for getting in touch. Sounds like you have a great routine running there!

This isn't something I've programmed before personally but I've searched around and found the following link, which has a variety of solutions:

http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/553580-visual-basic-applications-macro-already-open-ie-window.html

I've tried some of the solutions and they do exactly as you request. You just need to integrate them into your solution.

I hope this helps, please get in touch if it's not working for you.

Kind regards
