Outlook public folder calender updates

we have a number of PA's here who add entried for meetings in our public folder. The problem occurs that when the appointment gets admended it updates the attendees but no the person who created the meeting.

Is this the way it is supposed to be working? Very fustrating as some users are missing appointments due to it.

Are the PA's creating Meeting Requests and inviting everyone that way? If so, do they invite themselves?

Outlook tip:

Place Office Documents in Public Folders

To place an Office document in an Outlook Public folder:

1. Open the folder where the required document is held
2. Right click on the document
3. Click Copy
4. Open the target folder in Outlook Public Folders
5. Click in the folder
6. Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V (Paste)

The document should now be available to all who have permissions to view that folder.
