Powerpoint Advanced Course

I am doing the Unit 4 Practice Activity on P. 29 of the booklet which came with the course.

Item 6. says "Using the pencil tool from the Tables and Borders Toolbar......".

I cannot locate the Tables and Borders Toolbar when I am in the presentation "Employee details.pptx." Can you please tell me how to find it?

Thank you
Liz

RE: Powerpoint Advanced Course

Hello Liz,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate Advanced course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding working with Tables. To manually draw a table select the Insert ribbon and from the Tables group on the left click the Tables drop down arrow and click the Draw Table option and start drawing your table.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

PowerPoint tip:

To copy an object on your page

To copy an object on your page quickly and easily instead of using cut & paste, try this instead.

Select the object you want to copy by clicking on it.

Hold down the "CTRL" key on the keyboard.

Click (with the left mouse button) and drag the object to the new position. Simple & quick.

Now try it again but press the "Shift" key at the same time as the CTRL key, this will keep the objects aligned. Great for making diagrams etc.
