Attended course last week, went over subjects at home but question is I have inserted a movie clip (the racing man with the waving trophy) but I can't get my man to wave the trophy - what did I miss pleae help, looked at action buttons but they don't help either. Thank you.

Hi, I have used the same movie from clip file and it works ok for me. The only thing I can suggest is that you might not be running the powerpoint presentation view but instead trying to get the movie to run in your normal view. The movie wont play in normal view, try running it in presentation view and see if that works.

If thats not the problem please email me the file.

Running PowerPoint Show Without Opening PowerPoint

If you double click on a PowerPoint show, PowerPoint opens and shows the first slide in development mode. To prevent this do the following:

Find your PowerPoint file.

Right click on the file's icon with your mouse.

Select 'Show' from the menu that is displayed. PowerPoint opens and runs your slide Show. When the show finishes, PowerPoint closes.

Your audience never sees the PowerPoint working window at all.

To make it easier place a shortcut to the file on your desktop for quick access.
