How to do animation?

RE: animation

Hi Donna,

Thank you for your question.

The application of animation to your presentation is quite in- depth topic, we do cover in the PowerPoint intermediate-advanced course. However the tools you would require to animate are all located on the Animations tab of the Ribbon

In the Animations group, alongside Animate you have a drop down menu which allows you to apply preset animated effects to the objects on your slides.

Alternatively, you can apply custom animation where you have more control over the animation, being able to define entrance, emphasis & exit effects along with timings and setting the automation of the effects.

Please see the link below for further information.

PowerPoint tip:

Rearrange bulleted text quickly

Here are some handy shortcut keys for rearranging bullet points on your slides.

Simply click anywhere within the bullet point you wish to reposition; then hold down Shift + Alt then use the Arrow Up or Arrow Down key depending on which direction you want to move the bullet point in (up or down).

The bullet point will move up or down one bullet point at a time.
