How do you change colour on the background of all slides in presentation ?

RE: Slide background

Hi Bernard, thanks for your query. In Powerpoint 2007, click on the Design tab on the ribbon and then, on the right hand side, click on the "Background Styles" drop down. There is a "format background" option in that drop down which will allow you to change the solid fill colour of the slide, and if you then click on "Apply to all" button at the bottom right, it will recolour every slide.

That's the long way round, but you can quickly access that dialog box by right-clicking on your slide (outside of any of the placeholders) and then choosing Format Background.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Creating perfectly symmetrical shapes in PowerPoint

Are you a perfectionist when it comes to drawing shapes in PowerPoint?

If you hold down the Shift key whilst drawing a shape from the Drawing toolbar, you can create perfectly symmetrical circles and squares; and perfectly straight lines.
