Hyperlinks

I know you can hyperlink to another file, can you hyperlink to a website?

RE: hyperlinks

Hi Kathryn,

Thank you for your question.

If you create a slide and place your cursor by a blank bullet point.

Then go to the Insert tab and choose Hyperlink from the Links group. Select an existing file or web page and in the address box at the bottom type out the web page address( www.google.co.uk).

In the name box at the top write a user friendly name like Google in the example I have outlined above.

I hope this has answered your question.

Regards

Simon

PowerPoint tip:

To copy an object on your page

To copy an object on your page quickly and easily instead of using cut & paste, try this instead.

Select the object you want to copy by clicking on it.

Hold down the "CTRL" key on the keyboard.

Click (with the left mouse button) and drag the object to the new position. Simple & quick.

Now try it again but press the "Shift" key at the same time as the CTRL key, this will keep the objects aligned. Great for making diagrams etc.
