Moving clip art

moving an object off the screen

RE: Moving clip art

Hi Nicky, thanks for your query. Can you be a bit more specific about what you want? Do you want to send some clipart off the screen as part of an animation, or just remove it from appearing in Slideshow view?

Many thanks,

Anthony

RE: Moving clip art

Hi Anthony

Thank you for your reply but Andrew actually reminded me before I left yesterday.

I have come into the office today and realised that we have 2007 and not 2003 which I was learing yesterday!!! Ahhh!

I was just wondering if you could let me know how you remove the background colour around a logo? In 2003 I know that you just go into the Picture Tool Bar but I can't find it or the transparent pen in 2007.

Many thanks,

Nicky

RE: Moving clip art

Hi Nicky, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Set Transparent colour is under "Recolour" on the left of the Picture Format ribbon, triggered when you insert a picture.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

PowerPoint tip:

Getting animations to play in slide show view

If you have a presentation that you know contains animations, but they are not playing in slide show view, try the following:

1. Go to Slide Show - Set up Show.

2. In the 'Show options' section of the dialogue box that appears, check to see if the box next to 'Show without animation' has been checked.

3. Remove the check and click OK - you should now be able to see the animations play in slide show view.
