How do you import a picture from your hard drive on to your power point presentation?
What is a macro?
RE: Powerpoint
Hi Charlotte, thanks for your query. The quickest way to import a picture from the hard drive into a Powerpoint presentation is to select the Insert tab and then the Picture icon. Navigate to where the picture is saved on your hard drive, select it and then click OK. The picture will then appear on your slide.
A macro is a series of small actions within Word or Powerpoint which have been recorded and bracketed together. Those actions can then be repeated automatically by running the macro. One example would be a Letter macro which displays a form the user fills in with the name of the addressee and the location and which, when the user clicks OK, then fills out the letter with the correct information in the correct place. Macros can be very useful!
Hope this helps,
Anthony
