Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

To my knowledge, macros are pretty much the same from the 2003 to the 2007 version in terms of recording and running them.

You need to display the Developer ribbon to be able to record and run macros (as used to be done using the Tools menu in previous versions). To do this go to the Office button, Excel Options and in Popular tick the Show Developer tab in the ribbon option and click OK.

According to the following article, macros that have been written in code using the 2003 version should work ok in the 2007 version:
