Changing pictures in powerpoint

How do I flip (vertically and horizontally) or rotate a picture in pp 07?

RE: Changing pictures in powerpoint

Hello Briony

Thank you for your question.

If you select the picture, the Picture Tools Format ribbon will apear at the top of the screen.

Click the dropdown arrow next to the Rotate button in the Arrange group for flipping options.

To rotate, hold your mouse over the green circle that appears at the top of the picture. Hold the left mouse button down and turn clockwise or anticlockwise to rotate.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

PowerPoint tip:

To copy an object on your page

To copy an object on your page quickly and easily instead of using cut & paste, try this instead.

Select the object you want to copy by clicking on it.

Hold down the "CTRL" key on the keyboard.

Click (with the left mouse button) and drag the object to the new position. Simple & quick.

Now try it again but press the "Shift" key at the same time as the CTRL key, this will keep the objects aligned. Great for making diagrams etc.
