Powerpoint

why would I use a macro on Powerpoint?

RE: Powerpoint

Hi Katrina,

Thank you for your question.

You can record a macro to resize and position any pictures you insert.

Insert your first picture. Select the picture and start recording your macro. Use the Format menu and select Picture. Go to the Size tab and reduce the height and width. Then click OK and position the picture. Stop recording the macro.

Every time you insert another picture into this presentation, run your macro to resize and position.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Removing unused toolbar buttons in PowerPoint

Are there buttons on your PowerPoint toolbars that you never use? Remove them from the toolbar by doing the following:

1. Go to Tools - Customise - Commands.
2. Select the toolbar button you wish to remove, then use your mouse to drag and drop the button into the PowerPoint window. When you release your finger from the mouse, the button will disappear.
