Powerpoint

why would I export the ppt to word?

RE: powerpoint

Hi Adam

Thank you for the question and welcome to the forum.

The main reasons why you would export a PowerPoint presentation to Word are:

1. You want to create a handout which is easy for people to print off. Once the handout is in the Word document, all someone has to do is open and print the Word document - they don't need to know how to change the print settings in PowerPoint to produce a handout.

2. You want to create a customised handout which is different to the options you are given when you print handouts from PowerPoint.

PowerPoint tip:

Close a presentation with a keyboard shortcut

A quick way to close a presentation in Powerpoint is to use Control+W.

You may be prompted to save changes, and you can press S to do this.

You won't need to use the mouse, and it is easier if you are using the keyboard to use a keyboard shortcut.
