Picture inserts

How do I insert a picture from my drive at work to the powerpoint presentation?

RE: Picture inserts

Hi Lucy,

It shouldn't matter where the picture is stored, as long as your computer can see the source.

You may need to set up a network drive on your computer to see the disk/folder on which the picture is located.

Once this is done, and you can see the picture using MyComputer, then simply go to Powerpoint -> Insert -> Picture -> From file... and browse using the same method you would in MyComputer.

The powerpoint presentation should then copy the image file into Powerpoint.

I hope this works for you. If it doesn't, let us know. If it does, please mark this question as 'resolved'. Thanks.

Regards, Rich

PowerPoint tip:

Moving shapes where you want

when you move shapes using your cursor arrows they jump around, so by holding down the CTRL key and using the arrows the shape moves where you want it to.
