RE: macros

Hi Catherine

Macros are a way adding more functionality to any microsoft product. They can be recorded but to explore beyond the very basics requires knowledge Visual Basic for Application (VBA). It can reduce boring repeatitive tasks into a few clicks of buttons to produce reports, presentations and long complicated calculations.

There are various courses in VBA we provide. The standard courses are for VBA in Excel and Access. If you need VBA in other applications that would require a more specific course tailored to you.

I hope that helps.

PowerPoint tip:

Aligning slide objects using gridlines

The Grids and Guides feature in PowerPoint can serve as a visual guide to assist with aligning and/or resizing shapes.

Go to View > Grid and Guides or on the Drawing toolbar, select Draw > Grid and Guides. You can then choose to display the grid or guides on the screen.
