Full screen presentation at a kiosk

How can I get a full screen presentation on a 24" screen?

I keep on having a black back frame... Basically some space is left out of the presentation.

Sorry if any information is redundant, but this is what I did:

In the Set Up Show, the show type is: "Browsed at a kiosk (full screen)"

I set the Page set up on "On-screen Show", and it gives me automatically width 24 and height 18, and orientation "Landascape".
If I change this setting, the images get squeezed, and the screen will still be not "full screen" anyway.

I'm currently using the microsoft ofice 2000 premium version.

Thank you for your help.

RE: Full screen presentation at a kiosk

Hi Angela

Using the Page Setup under File - Page setup may not help in this instance. The black frame you see may have more to do with the screen resolution than the page setup.

Here are some suggestions, not sure if they will help but try them out.

1. Change the setting to Presented by a speaker (full screen) - does this make any difference?

2. Is the resolution setting for the computer screen the same as the one you are selecting under Slide Show/Set up Show?
You can check the screen's resolution by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting Properties, then selecting the Settings tab.

Great, I'm glad that worked out for you :)

You have a great weekend too.

PowerPoint tip:

Blank The Screen During a Presentation

You sometimes need eye-to-eye contact with your audience, so to remove the temptation of the presentation screen behind you, blank out the screen.

Ctrl+B blacks the screen out, and use it again to continue.

Ctrl+W whites the screen, but be careful not to use this in a dark room. You may blind your audience with a strong white light.
