Cut and pasting text

how do you stop text reformatting when you paste it in a ppt slide?

RE: cut and pasting text

Hi Ellie,

Thank you for your question.

If you are pasting formatted text from Word into a PowerPoint slide, the text should inherit the formatting from the Design template. However when you paste the text, a small paste options box appears to the bottom right of the text.

When you hover over the Options box, click on the drop down arrow and you can choose Keep Source Formatting.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon
