How do I work with multiple slide masters?

RE: Slide masters

Hello Miguel

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

To work with multiple slide masters in PowerPoint 2007:
1. Change to Slide Master view (View ribbon, click Slide Master button).

2. On the Slide Master ribbon, click the Insert Slide Master button to create another slide master.

3. Format the two slide masters with the backgrounds etc you wish to use.

4. Make sure both slide masters are preserved (i.e. have a pin symbol next to each slide master). If there is no pin symbol, right-click on the slide master and select Preserve master.

5. On the Slide Master ribbon, click the Close Master view button.

6. To apply your slide designs, go to the Design ribbon and click the dropdown arrow next to the Theme previews you can see. Your slide master designs will be at the top of this under the This Presentation category.

7. Click on a design to apply it to your slides.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

PowerPoint tip:

Moving shapes where you want

when you move shapes using your cursor arrows they jump around, so by holding down the CTRL key and using the arrows the shape moves where you want it to.
